The Lehigh Valley Cider and Wine Festival returns to Coca-Cola Park this Saturday, October 21. The annual event features hard cider and wine tastings from local and regional cideries and wineries.
Thirty cideries, wineries and food trucks will be in attendance for both the afternoon and evening sessions. Session 1 begins at noon and concludes at 4 p.m. Session 2 is open from 6-10 p.m. Tickets for each session are available for $35. You can purchase $45 VIP tickets for one-hour early access to either session. Visit LVCiderandWine.com or call 610-841-PIGS for more information.
With strong ticket sales again this year (the 2016 event sold out in advance) and a sunny forecast, interested parties are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
Ticketed attendees tasting the various offerings at the event will each receive a collector’s stemless glass that can be used for cider and wine tastings while enjoying a variety of food and crafts from local food trucks, vendors and artisans. The festival also includes live entertainment, the ability to purchase cider and wine by the glass, bottle, or case and a number of other fun activities.
Designated drivers can purchase tickets for just $5 and will receive complimentary soda, water and the chance to visit the food trucks and artisans throughout Coca-Cola Park.
The event will feature live music with four different acts taking the stage:
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tim Harakal
1:30-4 p.m. The Colour Sound
5-7:30 p.m. Steel Creek
7:30-10 p.m. Kyle Baker
This year's event is sponsored by Creative Marketing Ventures, LLC.
Coca-Cola Park will once again offer a unique backdrop for this on-field festival. The venue has been named Ballpark Digest’s “Ballpark of the Year” and has drawn unparalleled marks for its unique intimacy, family-friendly atmosphere and architectural design.
